Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead accounting operations during a transitional period for a growing real estate and infrastructure organization. Start ASAP for a 3–6 month assignment.

Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day accounting, month-end close, consolidated reporting, GAAP compliance, GL reconciliations, and multi-entity leadership. Collaboration with executive leadership will shape financial strategy and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and GAAP knowledge required.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation.
• Construction real estate or project-based accounting experience preferred.
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
