Key Responsibilities Of The Interim Construction Controller

• The Interim Construction Controller will lead the accounting and finance department, overseeing general ledger management, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.
• Establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards to support business growth and expansion.
• Develop and implement job costing processes to enhance financial tracking and project profitability, a key responsibility of the Construction Controller.
• Conduct cost control reviews and implement strategies to optimize project financial performance.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and provide strategic insights to senior leadership as the Interim Construction Controller.
• Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, budgets, and expenditures to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting.
• Oversee the preparation of forecasts, project budgets, and financial planning reports, which are essential to the role of an Interim Construction Controller.
• The Interim Construction Controller will manage, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff to enhance team performance and efficiency.
