Job summary

Illinois Counseling Centers, LLC, a behavioral health provider in Hoffman Estates, IL, seeks an experienced Interim Clinical Director to lead clinical development, licensing readiness, and the launch of new SUD treatment programs, including Outpatient, IOP, and PHP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or closely related behavioral health field.
• Active, unrestricted Illinois LCSW or LCPC license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of behavioral health clinical experience.
• At least 2 years of clinical supervision or program leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and experience with structured levels of care.
• Experience supervising multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Comfortable working as an independent contractor in an interim leadership capacity.

Responsibilities

• Pre-opening & licensure: support licensure readiness for IDHS-DBHR and program launch.
• Develop and review clinical policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Implement ASAM-based programming for Outpatient, IOP, and PHP.
• Support staffing and supervision structures.
• Review clinical documentation, treatment planning, and quality standards.
• Engage in licensing-readiness activities and surveys.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure launch readiness.
