Job summary

KIHS is seeking a Program Director to lead the Substance Use Disorder department under the supervision of the Medical Director. The role combines clinical leadership, staff supervision, policy oversight, and regulatory compliance to drive quality patient care.

Candidates must hold active CAC-AD or Maryland SUD credentials and have 3+ years clinical supervision; 5+ years administrative supervision; strong documentation, KPI management, and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in social work, human services, or behavioral health.
• CAC-AD licensure or equivalent credential required.
• Minimum five years of administrative supervision experience.
• Experience providing group and individual counseling for SUD and co-occurring disorders.
• Competence in Medication Assisted Treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical and administrative supervision of SUD staff.
• Oversee KPI development, monitoring, and program outcomes.
• Ensure policy, regulatory, and documentation standards are met.
• Coordinate with leadership on admissions, care levels, and treatment plans.
• Provide staff training and clinical supervision with timely documentation.
