Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership experience; Controller or CFO experience preferred.
• Strong month-end close and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with private equity reporting and Board presentations.
• Acquisition/M&A integration experience strongly preferred.
• QuickBooks experience required.
• Strong Excel, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable balancing strategic CFO-level responsibilities with hands-on accounting execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee the Accounting Manager and coordinate payroll.
• Prepare PE financial reporting, management reports, and Board decks.
• Partner with ownership and PE stakeholders on financial analysis, forecasting, cash flow, and performance.
• Lead acquisition integration, including accounting processes, reporting, systems, and controls.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, reporting, and financial visibility.
• Oversee AP, AR, GL, and other core accounting functions.
• Work directly in QuickBooks and remain involved in day-to-day accounting as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax, banking, and other financial initiatives.
