Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in establishing a positive learning climate.
• Evaluate teacher performance and advise on staffing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with School Committee policies and regulations.
• Coordinate state and national testing programs.
• Develop, revise and evaluate curriculum.
• Recruit, screen, train, assign, and evaluate staff.
• Prepare and manage the school budget.
• Plan, organize, and direct school activities.
• Liaise with the community and promote involvement in school life.
• Maintain inventories and ensure security of school property.
• Organize public relations efforts for the school.
• Develop the master schedule and scheduling tasks.
• Prepare administrative reports for operations.
• Resolve discipline issues fairly and document actions.
• May serve as Principal in absence of the Principal.
