Job summary

Green Key Resources LLC is seeking an Interim Surgery Center RN Consultant to lead clinical operations and support growth within a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in California. You will stabilize the nursing team, drive recruitment, and work with regional leadership on strategic plans for clinical excellence.

You will oversee quality, safety, risk management, and accreditation readiness, while coordinating onboarding for new surgeons and expanding service lines.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with perioperative leadership in ambulatory surgery centers.
• Proficiency in OR, pre-op, and PACU nursing practices.
• Experience with accreditation standards such as AAAHC or Joint Commission.
• Strong background in quality, patient safety, and risk management.
• Proven ability to recruit, schedule, and retain clinical staff.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
• Multi-specialty ASC experience (GI and orthopedics) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment and build a core RN and surgical technologist team.
• Develop retention strategies to stabilize the current team.
• Manage nurse and technician scheduling for surgical cases.
• Oversee quality, patient safety, and risk management programs.
• Maintain clinical administrative functions and compliance.
• Provide clinical leadership for new surgeons and service line expansions.
• Support groundwork for a 23-hour stay program.
• Ensure robust documentation and processes for transition to permanent leadership.
• Collaborate with business office and materials management teams.
