The Town of Gilbert is seeking a proactive Intergovernmental Relations Manager to support the Department Director in shaping the Town’s legislative program and regional activities.
You will represent the Town before federal, state, and regional agencies, build relationships with elected officials and staff, and prepare reports, briefing materials, and testimony for leadership and Council. This at-will exempt role invites hybrid work arrangements in Arizona.

The Intergovernmental Relations Manager assists the Department Director with coordination and development of the Town's legislative program and regional activities, represents the Town before a variety of external governmental agencies, and serves as a backup to the Director in representing the Town and shaping strategy to support the Town's needs.

This position has been identified as an eligible position for a Hybrid or Remote work agreement. Modified work privileges are approved at the sole discretion of the department director; as such, the department reserves the right to modify or discontinue these arrangements at any time. Regardless of work location (Remote, On-Site, or Hybrid), Town of Gilbert employees are required to reside in the state of Arizona.
