The Town of Gilbert is seeking an Assistant Town Traffic Engineer to support the Town Traffic Engineer in delivering safe and efficient transportation networks for Gilbert residents. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating traffic engineering projects, and reviewing development plans for traffic impacts.
Candidates should have a Civil Engineering degree with a transportation focus, 8+ years in traffic engineering, and a PE license.

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Exempt - ineligible for overtime compensation.

Incumbents may be subjected to operating a motor vehicle, moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, blood and other bodily fluids, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, intense noises and travel.
