Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. seeks a Manager, Interconnections to drive the interconnection lifecycle for solar and energy storage projects in North America.

You will interface with utilities, ISOs, and regulators, shaping strategies, schedules, and budgets to enable timely project delivery. The role demands 7+ years in interconnections, market knowledge across major regions, and strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in utility-scale renewable energy interconnections
• Experience managing interconnection activities from origination through commercial operation
• Strong understanding of utility/ISO/RTO interconnection processes
• Experience reviewing interconnection studies, requirements and agreements
• Coordinating with utilities, developers, engineering consultants and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency with project management software (Smartsheet, MS Project) and Office suite
• Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection strategy and execution for utility-scale solar, standalone BESS, and PV+BESS projects.
• Act as the primary contact for interconnection applications, coordinating internal and external efforts.
• Support projects across PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, SPP, and territory-specific requirements.
• Review and negotiate interconnection agreements, facility and operating agreements, and related contracts.
• Manage utility upgrade cost exposure and interconnection budgets with the PM team.
• Provide interconnection risk assessments for development and financing activities.
• Develop portfolio-wide interconnection schedules, forecasts, and leadership reports.
• Coordinate easements, rights-of-way, and on-site/off-site real estate documents.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts to schedules and costs.
• Collaborate to integrate interconnection requirements into project design and planning
