Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Ten years of transmission and interconnection planning experience on renewable projects; at least two years on solar PV and energy storage.
• Experience with utilities, ISO/RTOs, regulators; proficient with PSLF, PSS/E, PROMOD and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform powerflow studies and economic analyses to assess interconnection viability.
• Review interconnection study reports and coordinate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and consultants.
• Negotiate interconnection agreements and monitor milestones to ensure timely project development.
• Provide mentorship to junior transmission planning engineers.
