Job summary

Renewable Properties is seeking an experienced Interconnection Manager to lead electrical interconnection and delivery strategies across the United States. This role involves evaluating interconnection points, managing utility relationships, and overseeing engineering phases for solar and energy storage projects. Ideal candidates will have over 3 years of experience in renewable energy interconnection and strong project management skills. This is a high-impact position that offers the chance to shape strategy in a growing clean energy platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in renewable energy interconnection, transmission planning, and/or power systems engineering.
• Strong understanding of utility interconnection processes, including distribution-level procedures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience interfacing with utilities and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify optimal points of interconnection across target markets.
• Submit interconnection requests and manage utility contact throughout the process.
• Manage project queue positions and track interconnection processes.
• Negotiate interconnection study results and agreements with utilities.
• Coordinate efforts to meet all interconnection agreements and milestones.
