Job summary

KEMBA Financial Credit Union Inc. in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Interactive Teller who will support member transactions across multiple channels with friendly, compliant service.

You will perform ITM interactions, process deposits, withdrawals, and payments, and provide account information. You will monitor transactions to prevent fraud, identify opportunities to refer new services, meet service and productivity goals, and stay aligned with KEMBA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior teller experience or equivalent.
• Experience in a sales/customer service environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must value a high degree of accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and ability to be “On Stage” for extended periods maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills with appropriate grammar.
• Basic PC skills (Windows).
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic and complex member service ITM-directed interactions related to member accounts, including deposits, withdrawals and payments, account information, share drafts, certificates, money markets, IRAs, share and lending rates and terms, and shared branching.
• Monitor transactions to avoid losses to Members and KEMBA from fraud.
• Identify and recommend new and alternative services to Members that fit their financial needs.
• Meet or exceed assigned service and productivity goals.
• Perform duties in a manner compliant with KEMBA policies and procedures.
• Assist other Interactive Tellers as needed.
• Develop understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and procedures; pursue training and certification.
• Must relate well to others, maintain professionalism, and be able to communicate persuasively with coworkers and members.
• Engage in ongoing improvement through training.
