Circuit Stream is seeking a healthcare educator to deliver Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare to teens at the University of Houston this summer. The role is in-person, with hands-on activities and case-based learning designed to make medicine approachable for ages 13–17.

Dates are June 7–18 and June 21–July 2, 2027, from 8:45am to 4:45pm. Compensation is USD 1,500–1,650 per week, with required instructor training and a background check prior to working with youth.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to engage teens and facilitate activities
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Experience explaining medical concepts to beginners

Responsabilités

• Deliver Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare curriculum with energy and clear instruction
• Guide students through medical case studies and data interpretation
• Explain healthcare concepts in age-appropriate terms and connect to diverse careers
• Maintain inclusive, safe classroom environment and manage student behavior
• Supervise activities outside classroom and communicate progress to the Circuit Stream team
