Job summary

Circuit Stream is seeking a healthcare educator to deliver the Foundations of Medicine curriculum in person at Texas Christian University. You will energize lessons, guide case studies, interpret data, and explain health concepts to teens in an engaging, age‑appropriate way.

Dates: June 7–18 and June 21–July 2, 2027, 8:45am–4:45pm. Pay: USD 1,500–1,650 per week. Training and a background check are required. Bachelor’s in health fields, or progress toward Masters/PhD, plus strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, medicine, nursing, or health‑science discipline; OR Masters/PhD in progress.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp, or youth‑program experience preferred.
• Dependable, prepared, receptive to feedback, and comfortable taking responsibility for student safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare curriculum with energy and clear classroom facilitation.
• Guide students through medical case studies, healthcare scenarios, data interpretation, and hands‑on activities.
• Explain medical concepts to beginners in an age‑appropriate way and connect concepts to healthcare careers.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and enforce safety and behavior guidelines.
• Supervise students during daily activities and communicate concerns to Circuit Stream team.
