Job summary

Circuit Stream is seeking an instructor to teach Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare to teens at St. Edward's University in Austin this summer. You’ll deliver curriculum, guide medical case studies, and connect course concepts to healthcare careers.

The role runs June 7–18 and June 21–July 2, 2027, with daily sessions from 8:45am to 4:45pm. Compensation is USD 1,500–1,650 per week; background check required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, medicine, nursing, or health science.
• Teaching or camp experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to explain health concepts clearly to beginners.
• Available to teach on all listed summer dates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare curriculum with energy and clarity.
• Guide students through medical case studies and data interpretation.
• Explain medical concepts in age-appropriate ways and connect to healthcare careers.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and manage behavior safely.
• Supervise students during activities and monitor progress with Circuit Stream team.
