Job summary

Circuit Stream is hiring to deliver the Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare curriculum to teens at The University of Texas at Arlington this summer. You will lead engaging case-based activities, explain health concepts, and guide students aged 13–17 through hands-on learning.

Dates run June 7–18 and July 12–23, 2027, with sessions daily from 8:45am to 4:45pm. Compensation is USD 1500–1650 per week; training is provided and a background check is required before working with youth.

Qualifications

• Genuine enjoyment of working with teenagers and ability to keep groups engaged.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for beginners in health topics.
• Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth-program experience preferred.
• Ability to manage classroom environment and safety in a summer camp setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare curriculum with energy and clear pedagogy.
• Lead students through medical case studies, data interpretation, and hands-on activities.
• Explain medical concepts in age-appropriate ways and connect them to future health careers.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and reinforce expectations and safety.
• Supervise students during indoor/outdoor activities and communicate progress to Circuit Stream team.
