First-Resources-Corp-1 is seeking an Intensive Support Professional (ISP) in Ottumwa, IA. You will provide person-centered, trauma-informed direct support to adults with severe mental illness in a residential setting and help clients build daily living skills.

Responsibilities include crisis management, supervision, transportation, and thorough documentation while collaborating with a care team to ensure high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant degrees preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in mental health, residential care, or crisis intervention is required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance for client transport.

Responsabilités

• Direct Care & Skill-Building: assist clients with daily living skills and emotional regulation.
• Crisis Intervention & De-escalation: trauma-informed techniques during distress.
• Supervision & Safety: maintain awake, proactive supervision per safety protocols.
• Community Integration & Transport: support outings, errands, and appointments; provide safe transport.
• Documentation & Compliance: log incidents and goals per HIPAA/state regulations.
• Team Collaboration: communicate with supervisors and healthcare providers for seamless care.

Formation

Associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred
