First Resources Corp is seeking a Direct Support Professional (Community Supports) in Ottumwa, IA. This part-time role provides hourly in-home and community supports to adults with disabilities, about 28 hours per week, daytime and early evening, with no overnights or regular weekends.

You will perform meal prep, errands, skill building, and recreation; assist with personal care; maintain visit notes and coordinate with supervisor on schedule changes.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent; experience with people with disabilities preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers and computer-based programs.
• Satisfactory results on background checks pertaining to criminal and abuse registries.

Responsibilities

• Provide hourly in-home and community supports, such as meal prep, errands, skill building, and recreation.
• Assist with personal care when needed.
• Keep clear visit notes and talk with your supervisor about schedule changes.
