Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide care for ventilated critical care patients.
• Manage IV sedation and critical care trauma patients.
• Collaborate within a strong ICU clinical support team.

Job description

A leading 379-bed Level II Trauma Center and short‑term acute care hospital in Texas, recognized for delivering advanced critical care services, trauma support, cardiac and neuro ICU care, and exceptional patient outcomes. The facility offers a strong collaborative environment, advanced ICU technology, and excellent support for travel nurses.

Position:

RN – ICU

Shift Options:

• 3x12 Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4x12 Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Start Date:

06/15/2026

Weekly Gross Pay Range:

• 3x12 Nights: $1900-$2,080/week
• 4x12 Nights: $2700-$2,900/week
• Self‑Scheduling Unit
• Floating Required
• Every Other Weekend Required
• EPIC/Any Acute Care Charting Experience Accepted
• General Surgery Patients
• Ventilated Critical Care Patients
• Multi‑System Organ Dysfunction Patients

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 1.5 Years Recent ICU RN Experience Required
• 2–3 Years ICU Experience Preferred
• First‑Time Travelers Accepted
• Active TX or Compact RN License Required
• ACLS, BLS & NIHSS Required

Must Be Comfortable With:

• Ventilator Management
• BiPAP/CPAP
• IV Sedation
• ABGs
• Critical Care & Trauma Patients

Preferred Qualifications:

• ECMO
• IABP
• CRRT
