Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role involves delivering one-to-one behavioral interventions, supporting daily activities, and collecting data to track progress under the Behavior Support Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
