Maxim Healthcare in Pomona, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits. You will provide one-to-one behavior intervention, assist with daily activities, and contribute to data collection and progress monitoring as part of the Behavior Support Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• At least one year working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Provide/assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meal prep and feeding, dressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
