Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors in Moreno Valley, CA.

The role involves one-to-one behavior intervention services, daily living activities support, and personal care assistance while implementing and tracking data for goals in the Behavior Support Plan. Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in educational or healthcare settings preferred.
• At least 1 year working with individuals with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas.
• Assist with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, and ambulation.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals from the Behavior Support Plan.
