Job summary

Damar Services, Inc. on the Southwest side of Indianapolis is seeking Intensive Autism Technicians to provide direct services to children with Autism, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis and participating in BST.

The role supports the treatment team and operates in a residential setting with full-time opportunities. Responsibilities include data collection, skills-based treatment, facilitating training, and assisting during practical assessments, with driving as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with children with neurodivergence is preferred but not required
• Ability to pass and maintain Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification
• Ability to pass and maintain CPR Certification
• Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements
• Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening

Responsibilities

• Provides direct services to children
• Participates in Behavior Skills Training (BST), as needed or appropriate
• Assists during Practical Functional Assessments, as needed or appropriate
• Operates Damar vehicles and/or personal vehicles to transport clients or perform other work-related duties
• Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client
• Serves as a member of Damar Services’ interdisciplinary team
• Prioritizes duties in a manner consistent with organizational objectives and growth
• Shows initiative by identifying solutions to improve stakeholder satisfaction
• Acts as a good steward of Damar and/or client finances
