Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Manager to lead Trapeze software direction, desktop/server/network support, and IT project delivery for client operations. You will coordinate with the client’s IT teams, manage local servers, and oversee complex IT initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong communication, vendor management, and cost control while maintaining SLA commitments and robust documentation across systems.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience with Trapeze transit software.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred) and networking.
• Familiar with cloud computing, server virtualization and application delivery controllers.
• Thorough understanding of Windows environments and related hardware.
• Experience with Windows 7/10, Server 2012/2016 and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide Trapeze software direction, desktop, server and network support for client operations according to SLA.
• Support analog, digital, or VOIP telephone systems and related lines.
• Support MDT/in-vehicle tablets and Trapeze reservation platform.
• Manage servers at local division: domain controllers, file, application and database services.
• Communicate with client agencies, provide reports and updates.
• Interact with client IT departments; coordinate with vendors and IT staff on projects.
• Manage IT projects, supervise staff and external vendors.
• Develop strategic IT operation plans considering costs, benefits and risks of investments.
• Control costs and ensure documentation for IT operations and development.

Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking anIntelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Manager for proposed business.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing Trapeze software direction,desktop, server and network support for client operations according to Service Level Agreements (SLA). This includes, but not limited to, desktop and server repair, network maintenance, helpdesk tickets, disaster recovery and other projects as assigned.
• Support of analog, Digital, or VOIP telephone System, T-1, fax and DSL lines.
• Responsible for supporting local technologies related to transit operations, such as; Mobile Data Terminals (MDT)/in vehicle tablets, andTrapezereservation software platform.
• Manage servers at local division; domain controller, file, application and database (MS SQL SVR).
• Meet and interact with client agencies providing reports and updates for local divisional office.
• Close interaction with the client’s IT department.
• Managing complex IT projects, IT employees and outside vendors.
• Developing strategic operations and investment plans that weight costs, benefits, opportunities and risks of various IT investment approaches.
• Controlling and minimize costs.
• Ensuring suitable documentation exists and is maintained for IT operations and software development.

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

• Highly proficient with Trapeze transit software is a MUST.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, relational databases (MS SQL Server preferable) and networking.
• Proficient with the company's major IT systems, services and technology frameworks (e.g. cloud computing, server virtualization, application delivery controller, etc.).
• Thorough understanding of computer, server, network, printer and peripheral hardware.
• Experience supporting Windows 7, 10, Server, 2012 & 16, and Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and decision-makingskills.
• Experience with desktop, server and network management tools.
• Experience with Cisco switches and routers.
• Experience with Bus Operations Technology
• Familiar with backup and disaster recovery.
