Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead federated, clash-checked models for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate across architecture, vertical structures, transportation, roadway design, and MEP to ensure consistency and interoperability.

You will run clash detection in Navisworks, develop BIM Execution Plans, enforce CAD/BIM standards, mentor staff, and liaise with clients and subconsultants to deliver model-based deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus related experience.
• Minimum 12 years of related experience in CADD/BIM coordination.
• Experience complying with transit agency and DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across architecture, vertical, transportation, roadway and MEP.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead cross-discipline resolution.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and model-based deliverables.
• Enforce CAD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff across offices and geographies.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverables.
