This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded attorney with substantial law firm experience and deep expertise in intellectual property, commercial contracts, and complex technology transactions.

Matters will span a broad range of sophisticated commercial transactions, including intellectual property licensing, strategic commercial agreements, technology-related transactions, and the intellectual property and commercial aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate deals.

Job Requirements

• Substantial law firm experience advising on intellectual property, technology transactions, and complex commercial agreements.
• Deep understanding of intellectual property law, contract law, and the commercial considerations affecting technology-driven businesses.
• Significant experience handling a broad range of complex commercial transactions for early-stage, growth-stage, and/or publicly traded technology companies.
• Demonstrated experience advising on the intellectual property and commercial aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.
• Strong commercial judgment, drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical advice on sophisticated legal and business issues.
• Excellent client service, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, work collaboratively across practice groups, and develop effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Superior academic credentials and a commitment to technical excellence and client service.
• Admission to the New York Bar in good standing, or eligibility to sit for or waive into the next applicable New York Bar examination.
