Job summary

Flexport is seeking an Integration Support Engineer to manage data exchanges between Flexport and customers/partners. You will serve as a technical anchor for production integrations, triaging requests, and enabling end-to-end resolution of incidents.

You will work with API/EDI standards, Boomi/Mulesoft/WebMethods, and AWS tools, partnering with Solutions Engineers to optimize processes and scale the ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3–5 years in systems integration, tech support, or implementation engineering.
• Strong knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and EDI standards.
• Comfort reading logs, querying databases, and understanding data flows in distributed systems.
• Experience with data analytics, data manipulation and multiple data formats.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language or integration platform.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support integrations in production: monitor, triage, own investigations end-to-end, and drive RCAs.
• Lead meetings with customers/3rd parties to resolve integration issues across teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to integrations or platform surfaces.
• Develop deep knowledge of EDI, APIs (BoM, Flexport APIs), and integration tools.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering to transition builds to support and influence roadmaps.
• Maintain dashboards/charts to monitor integration health and SLA adherence.
• Lead high-value technical calls with customers and vendors; translate issues for non-technical stakeholders.
• Share insights to improve processes and efficiency within the Ecosystem team.
