Job summary

Flexport is seeking an Integration Support Engineer to triage and resolve complex API/EDI integration issues, interfacing with customers, partners, and internal teams. You will own escalation paths, contribute to knowledge bases, and ensure scalable, reliable data exchange across platforms.

You will work with Solutions Engineers and Consultants to improve processes, monitor production integrations, and drive high SLAs while leveraging AWS, Boomi, and Looker for analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3–5 years in systems integration, technical support, or implementation engineering.
• Good knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and EDI standards.
• Comfort reading logs, querying databases, and understanding data flow in distributed systems.
• Experience with data analytics and data manipulation across various data formats and connectors.
• Experience using debugging/monitoring tools (Postman, SQL clients, Looker) and AWS infra (EC2, S3, SQS).
• Experience with AI/LLMs to debug/triage issues and generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support production integrations, triaging inbound requests and driving end-to-end incident resolution.
• Lead meetings with customers and third parties to resolve issues.
• Identify and implement improvement enhancements within integrations or platform surfaces.
• Serve as technical expert on EDI/API integrations, iPaaS (Boomi) and APIs; understand new/existing integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to transition new integrations from build to support; advocate for customer needs.
