Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Mobile, AL, seeks a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Manager to lead the Integrated Systems department. You will oversee design, installation, and service of fire protection and life-safety systems, manage staff, and grow the client base while ensuring safety and quality.

You will hire, train, and evaluate field personnel, oversee contracts and budgets, and ensure compliance with NFPA, codes, and company policies. This role offers advancement, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience installing commercial construction integrated systems.
• State or local licensure where required.
• Experience hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating field employees.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA, regulatory standards, and state/local codes.
• Skilled in management, inventory, budgeting, scheduling, and contract/services negotiation.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to resolve scope disputes tactfully.
• Contact clients to discuss delinquent payments.
• Visit sites to check progress and fulfill contractual commitments.
• Meet with clients to maintain relationships and promote new business.
• Follow up on leads and expand related services.
• Prepare proposals and estimates for customers.
• Plan and monitor job costs and profitability of alarm work.
• Train, coach, and assist staff in certifications.
