Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Mobile, Alabama seeks a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Manager to lead the Integrated Systems department, drive client acquisition, and oversee project delivery from quote to contract execution. You will hire, train, and manage field teams, ensure safety, and maintain profitability across fire alarm, intrusion, access control, CCTV and related systems.

The role requires 7–10 years’ installing commercial integrated systems, licensure, and strong knowledge of NFPA standards.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of experience installing commercial construction integrated systems.
• State or local licensure where required.
• Experience hiring, training, disciplining, and terminating field employees.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA, regulatory standards, and state/local codes.
• Skilled in management, inventory, budgeting, scheduling, and contract/services negotiation.
• Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to pass various background checks where required.
• Reliable transportation, valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to resolve scope and on-site condition disagreements tactfully.
• Contact clients to discuss delinquent payments.
• Visit sites to check progress and ensure contractual commitments.
• Meet with current client base to maintain relationships and promote new business.
• Follow up on leads, cultivate new contacts, and expand services.
• Prepare proposals and estimates for customers.
• Plan and monitor job costs and profitability of alarm work.
• Oversee and schedule staff on daily assignments.
• Train, coach and develop employees.
• Reinforce SOPs and address workplace behavior risks.
