Job summary

Fccinc is seeking a Substance Use Disorders Counselor (FEDPROB) in Poplar Bluff, MO to provide integrated treatment for defendants under Court supervision. The role includes coordinating related services, ensuring compliance with court and agency requirements, and applying evidence-based counseling techniques.

The position requires applicable SUD credentials or degrees; bachelor’s or master’s in a relevant field is preferred, with certification through the Missouri Credentialing Board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred; or HS diploma with 4+ years of SUD experience and relevant credentials.
• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field; QMHP criteria may apply.
• Must be certified or registered through the Missouri Credentialing Board (CADC/CRADC/CRAADC/RADC-P).

Responsibilities

• Provide substance use disorder counseling using CBT, teach coping skills, and apply motivational interviewing.
• Coordinate treatment recommendations with USPO/USPSO and adjust service intensity as needed.
• Ensure participation and reporting compliance under USDC Solicitation Agreement; maintain logs and reports.
• Coordinate Mental Health Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluation, medication, lab studies, and crisis intervention.
• Maintain contact with care coordinators, nurses, and providers; ensure adherence to evidence-based models.
• Communicate information clearly and ensure program operations meet CARF/DMH standards.
