Job Summary: Effectively directs the integrated design and manages the execution of brand commercial programs for assigned business. This position is on point for delivering a program design and execution that addresses the program objective, is executed on time, and on budget. Additionally, this position maintains a close working relationship with the Product Managers, Customer Marketers, and Agencies to complete assignments. The position requires the application of established practices and procedures, the development of new systems for program management and support in planning and implementation of marketing and communications activities.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Facilitates the integrated process among external agency partners and internal design:

  • Ensures that brand teams’ briefings, direction, and brand plans are deployed and successfully executed.

  • Drives open communication and translation of ideas between product managers and executional partners.

  • Shares all programs with Global partners and facilitates design customization required by region.

2. Facilitates recapping of commercial programs including key learning applicable to future programs, driving best practices and integrated excellence.

3. Details program components, budgets and volume implications:

  • Works with Marketo in developing “what if” models to predict forecasted volume and program ROI.

  • Leads internal and external team to recommend program and budget adjustments during changes in budgets at the direction of Marketing.

4. Directs program execution.

  • Communicates and monitors budgets and material needs for all components of commercial programs to internal and external resources

  • Provides plan milestones for timeline and resource management and is accountable to IMP Associate Marketing Director.

  • Initiates confidentiality agreements, contracts, purchase requisitions, and other legal requirements.

  • Serves as first point of contact for internal and external teams regarding status/pipeline of executional deliverables.

5. Builds and maintains strong working relationships with all internal teams, including brand, digital, creative, and agency partners through trust, integrity and effective communication.

  • Serves as a resource to brand teams on the integration of creative executions.

  • Serves as a resource to partners to help improve process, allocate and prioritize resources and troubleshooting issues.

  • Ensure individual actions are consistent with safety standards and corporate policies.

Qualifying Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or a related field required.

  • 5+ years of experience leading a Marketing Communications strategy.

  • Healthcare experience a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written along with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multi-department, multi-stakeholder environment where priorities and participation shift.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, project and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail is a must.

  • Creativity for developing new and existing ways to engage with target audiences.

  • Ability to learn the business function and apply understanding to strategic marketing communications.

  • Demonstrated experience with product and service marketing.

Technical Skills

  • Expert ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required. Strong presentation skills a must.

  • Experience with the following marketing tools preferred:

    • Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

    • Showpad

    • Pardot

  • Proven leadership in digital media strategies and business practices for marketing.

  • Knowledge of event management and various media production including print, video and web and the managerial aptitude to accomplish them in an innovative and cost-effective manner.
