Integrated Lab Solutions Technician - Life Sciences

About The Role

As a CBRE Integrated Laboratory Solutions Technician, you will support a pharmaceutical client by maintaining and managing lab development equipment. This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services, responsible for technical maintenance in critical environments.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide prompt, flexible, customer-focused equipment support, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment such as Tunnel Washer, Autoclave, Filler/Capper, Parts Washer, Hydrogen Peroxide Chamber, and other lab equipment.
  • Identify and order parts for maintenance, and assist in inventory management.
  • Support service requests and delivery, acting as a point of contact for the client within the lab.
  • Assist with device calibration, documentation, and verification processes.
  • Report deferred maintenance and its impact on risk, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Manage service logs and asset database, create and review service reports.
  • Monitor equipment performance using KPIs and suggest improvements.
  • Support onsite vendor visits with management.
  • Maintain accurate records of faults and support data initiatives like asset replacement.
  • Ensure proper documentation to demonstrate maintenance compliance.
  • Participate in client meetings to review performance and improvements.
  • Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 1-2 years of experience; experience and education combined may be considered.
  • Experience in regulated environments like pharmaceutical R&D or manufacturing, with familiarity with lab equipment.
  • Knowledge of GMP documentation, lab gowning procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving stooping, standing, walking, climbing, and lifting over 50 lbs.
  • Basic work routine adherence, clear communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills for calculations related to work.
