Job summary
VSC Fire & Security in Tampa, Florida seeks an Integrated Systems Service Technician to service fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV and related systems. You will install, test, and repair multiple integrated platforms, troubleshoot alarms, and program various systems while communicating effectively with clients.
Two to three years of hands-on experience, strong technical knowledge, and a valid driver’s license are required.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience servicing fire Alarm, security, camera, access control or similar systems.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions with high attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for company vehicle use.
- Desirable NICET I or II in IT/ITFAS or equivalent certifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, test, and repair fire alarm, security, camera, access control, suppression, and fire alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and false alarms.
- Program multiple system types and test for proper operation.
- Consult with clients on system issues and provide repair recommendations.
- Read plans to determine proper systems installation and servicing.
