Job summary

Gensler in Los Angeles seeks an Integrated Design Manager to join the Experience Studio. Lead diverse teams across entertainment, digital experiences, and brand design to deliver immersive projects that connect people to places.

You will manage client relationships end to end, drive proposals, and oversee design processes from discovery to CA, ensuring alignment with contracts and budgets.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in project/brand management or related roles.
• Proven track record of growing client relationships into repeat work and expanded scope.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams through complex projects.
• Financial fluency: comfort with fees, budgets, staffing plans, and profitability.
• Experience overseeing interactive and physical fabrication (graphics, exhibits, AV) a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation/storytelling ability.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project management/collaboration tools (Deltek, Smartsheet, Miro, Figma).

Responsibilities

• Own the client relationship end to end—from pursuit through closeout and into the next engagement.
• Set and manage expectations proactively; surface issues early with recommended paths forward.
• Navigate multi-stakeholder environments with competing priorities.
• Represent Gensler with executive presence in presentations, workshops, and negotiations.
• Lead proposal development: scope, fees, work plans, staffing.
• Drive pursuit strategy and client presentations with studio leadership.
• Identify opportunities for expansion and negotiate additional services.
• Build and maintain a network across practice areas, clients, and partners.
• Contribute to the studio's annual growth targets and BD performance.
