Position Summary
The Integrated Creative Services Coordinator supports the College of Public Health’s goals of research visibility, community outreach and student recruitment by enhancing marketing and communications through a cohesive multimedia approach. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this position brings core creative functions in-house, including print design, photo and video production; email campaign management; and ADA‑compliant template development, to improve brand alignment and support the efforts of programs and units across the college.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education communications is preferred.

Duties / Responsibilities
Print Design and Publication
Percentage of time: 35%
- Design and produce the college’s annual outreach magazine, from initial layout through print‑ready file delivery.
- Design printed recruitment materials for conferences and events, including program booklets, brochures, flyers, and tabletop displays.
- Act as project manager for print design needs, stewarding projects from brainstorm to print‑ready file.
- Design and produce direct mail pieces, including recruitment mailers and donor stewardship materials.
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing & Communications and content contributors on design timelines and print vendor relationships.
- Develop and maintain a library of brand‑aligned design templates for use across departments and programs.
Email Campaign Management
Percentage of time: 20%
- Manage and execute email recruitment campaigns for college programs, including design, segmentation, scheduling and deployment.
- Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications, department heads and program directors to expand email‑based recruitment to programs as capacity allows.
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics; provide regular reporting and recommendations to the Director of Marketing & Communications and Office of Academic Affairs.
- Maintain email subscriber lists and ensure compliance with CAN‑SPAM and institutional data practices.
- Design branded email templates consistent with college visual identity standards.
Digital Accessibility Management
Percentage of time: 15%
- Audit existing print and digital materials for ADA and Title II compliance.
- Work with Digital Accessibility Liaison and Director of Marketing & Communications to develop and implement remediation plans.
- Create accessible, reusable templates for college‑wide use, including Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, PDFs and print collateral.
Brand Stewardship & Departmental Support
Percentage of time: 20%
- Serve as a visual brand ambassador for the college, ensuring consistency across all marketing and communications materials.
- Maintain and update brand identity assets, including logos, color palettes, typography guides and usage standards.
- Collaborate with the Communications & Outreach Specialist and Director of Marketing & Communications on integrated campaigns for student recruitment, development and alumni relations, and college‑wide initiatives.
- Provide design support to departments and programs within the college as capacity allows.
Photo and Video Production
Percentage of time: 10%
- Serve as the department’s primary project manager for photo and video needs, managing coverage of events, research activities and student and faculty profiles.
- Manage the college’s photo and video archives, including organization, tagging and distribution of files as needed for projects.
- Liaise with department heads and program directors on photo and video projects, as needed.
- Coordinate with the Communications & Outreach Specialist to ensure visual assets align with the college’s editorial and social media needs and calendars.
- Serve as backup photographer and videographer.
