Job summary

Beacon Mental Health in Missouri seeks an ITCD Specialist to deliver integrated, evidence-based therapy to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. You will conduct integrated assessments, develop stage-based treatment plans, and provide individual, group, community-based, and family-focused services within the Medical Services Program.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with the treatment team, ensuring timely documentation in the EHR, and promoting fidelity

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• Missouri clinical licensure preferred; active credential (QAP or equivalent) and CPR/First Aid.
• Three+ years of behavioral-health experience; five+ years with co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy for co-occurring disorders using evidence-based approaches and community-based therapy when appropriate.
• Plan and facilitate co-occurring disorder counseling and educational groups in Beacon and community settings.
• Complete integrated assessments identifying symptoms, strengths, risks, and treatment recommendations.
• Develop, review, and update person-centered, recovery-oriented treatment plans addressing mental health and substance use needs.
• Coordinate with managers and director to support fidelity to the ITCD model and quality-improvement efforts.
• Maintain clinical documentation in the EHR within required timeframes.
• Participate in weekly integrated treatment and assessment-team meetings and provide clinical consultation.
• Orient new team members to ITCD model, workflows, and fidelity expectations.
• Maintain relationships with community mutual-aid and recovery-support groups; provide informed referrals.
• Coordinate or provide family psychoeducation as appropriate and authorized.
• Monitor emerging practices and deliver relevant training and resources.
• Maintain credentials and training, use agency technology proficiently, travel as needed.
