The Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCD) model is an evidence-based practice that improves the quality of life for people with severe mental illness and substance use disorders by combining mental health and substance use services. ITCD emphasizes that individuals achieve big changes in sobriety, symptom management, and independent living through a series of small, overlapping, incremental changes that occur over time. The Co-Occurring Specialist will provide individual and group counseling for substance use to clients enrolled in the ITCD program, ensuring the highest level of care is provided in compliance with Community Counseling Policies and Procedures and ITCD standards.
