Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health is seeking a Co-Occurring Disorder Counselor in Springfield, MO to provide integrated therapy for clients with substance use and mental health concerns. The role includes individual and group counseling, intake assessments, treatment planning, and coordination with the clinical team.

The position requires relevant credentials (MCB/ITCD) and a willingness to work on call and provide telehealth as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional or Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services field and/or credentialing to provide services within scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide co-occurring disorder therapy, individual and group, in community/home settings.
• Complete intake, assessments, and treatment planning following state guidelines.
• Document services accurately and maintain timely records.
• Participate in team meetings and staffings to discuss cases and treatment plans.
• Assist with crisis intervention and transition planning for clients.
