Job summary

Community Counseling Center in Marble Hill, MO seeks a Co-Occurring Substance Use Specialist to provide individual and group counseling within the ITCD program. The role requires meeting MO’s QAP definitions and holding approved credentials or degrees with experience in substance use disorders.

You will participate in MDT meetings, complete assessments, and ensure compliance with ITCD standards and agency policies while supporting clients toward recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must meet the Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP).
• Credentials listed above meet MO Credentialing Board requirements.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience or Master's with 1 year of experience in SUD population.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ITCD counseling and education groups.
• Provide education to family members of ITCD consumers.
• Provide individual counseling ITCD clients.
• Complete supplemental assessments for ITCD clients.
• Make appropriate referrals.
• Attend ITCD multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Document according to clinical policies and procedures.
