Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant in Phoenix to identify psychosocial factors affecting health and deliver brief interventions within a Primary Care Behavioral Health model.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology and an AZ license (LPC/LCSW/psychologist) or eligibility, plus at least two years in healthcare. Duties include assessments, care planning, crisis response, and secure documentation.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology.
• Arizona BBHE license (LPC/LCSW or Psychologist) or eligible.
• Two years of experience in health care field.
• Current Arizona Driver License and BLS certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services within the integrated Primary Care Behavioral Health model.
• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments identifying psychosocial factors affecting health.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Deliver brief interventions and short-term counseling for depression, anxiety, trauma, and related concerns.
• Assist in crisis situations with rapid intervention and safety planning.
• Document all encounters per organizational policies.
