Job summary

MePA is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to operate within a primary care setting, delivering brief, solution-focused assessments and interventions. The BHC will triage and co-manage patients, provide psychoeducation, and develop specific behavioral change plans for identified populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health field (Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work).
• Licensed in WA as LMHC/LCSW or related license.
• WA Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume, brief, evidence-based assessments and interventions geared toward functional improvement.
• Identify, triage, and co-manage patients with medical and behavioral health problems within the primary care setting.
• Provide skill training through psychoeducation and patient education strategies and develop behavioral change plans.
• Support primary care providers and patients by providing quality clinical mental health consultations.
• Develop behavioral health protocols for target populations and support the Integrated Clinical Care team.

Education

Master’s degree in behavioral health

Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Worker in WA
