Job summary

Kenaitze Indian Tribe is hiring a Behavioral Health Case Manager to enhance service delivery between healthcare disciplines. The role involves providing case management services to SED youth and adults with SMI and Substance Use Disorders. Candidates should be familiar with HIPAA regulations and have experience in case management, particularly with Alaska Native populations. A Bachelor's degree in Mental Health or equivalent is preferred. This position requires strong clinical writing skills and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of experience in case management preferred.
• Experience providing direct services to SED youth or SMI adults preferred.
• Knowledge and experience working with Alaska Native/American Indian people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual case management and group skills development.
• Maintain client files in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate referrals and connections to community resources.

Skills

Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR regulations

Clinical writing skills

Knowledge of drug and alcohol treatment options

Understanding of the effects of domestic violence

Education

B.A. in Mental Health related field
