Job summary

Amerita is seeking an Intake Supervisor to join our intake team at the Scottsdale branch. You will oversee the processing of new referrals and ongoing coordination of patient customer service, while helping the branch meet revenue goals and maintain exceptional care.

The role requires a minimum of three years in healthcare intake, strong communication, insurance verification, and commitment to regulatory compliance. Shift: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience collecting referral information in healthcare
• Working knowledge of Managed Care, commercial insurance, Medicare and Medicaid
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Home infusion experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake and coordinate patient registration and documentation
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations and re-authorizations
• Monitor Ready to Bill and ensure unbilled revenue stays under threshold
• Train and supervise intake staff and conduct audits
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers
• Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations
