Job summary

The Intake Technician at Hickory Recovery in Cambridge, OH supports patients as the first point of contact, handling admissions, paperwork, and basic data entry for patient health information. Under supervision of the Intake Director, you will guide visitors, coordinate with vendors, and ensure smooth front-desk operations.

Two years of reception or related experience, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of reception experience or equivalent customer-related ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer relationship skills.
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Answering, assisting, and directing incoming calls to appropriate parties.
• Verifying health coverage, handling complaints, and scheduling.
• May coordinate travel and process bills for approval/payment.
• Monitor daily census and bed grid.
• Assist with intake process and prepare patient charts.
