Job summary

TalentHop is seeking an Intake Specialist who will be the first contact for potential clients, assessing new cases and guiding them through the intake process. You will help identify viable matters and convert inquiries into clients, supporting the legal team’s mission for justice and compensation.

Responsibilities include handling calls, documenting details, evaluating case fit, and maintaining strong communication with clients and the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in sales, call center, or customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathetic yet persuasive in a goal-driven environment.
• Able to type 40+ WPM and multitask.
• Availability for evenings/weekends.
• Preferred: bilingual English/Spanish and legal intake experience.

• Accurately document case details.
• Evaluate potential cases for fit and viability.
• Provide supportive, clear communication to callers.
• Guide prospective clients through the sign-up process.
• Build rapport and convert leads into signed clients.
• Collaborate with intake management on case evaluations.
• Maintain strong client and internal team relationships.
• Ensure timely follow-up and consistent communication.
• Enter and manage data in the case management system.
• Organize and upload client documents.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

About the Opportunity:

The INTAKE SPECIALIST serves as the initial contact for potential clients, playing a vital role in assessing new cases, building trust, and guiding individuals through the intake process. This position directly impacts the organization's ability to identify viable cases and convert inquiries into clients, supporting the legal team’s mission to provide justice and compensation.

Requirements:

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible hours as needed
• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: bilingual in English and Spanish
• Preferred: experience in legal intake or personal injury
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods, use computer and office equipment, occasionally stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds, and communicate clearly
