Job summary

Tort Experts is seeking an Intake Advocate to serve as the first point of contact for those seeking legal assistance with injury claims. You will guide claimants through a screening process and assist them in completing initial forms to retain an attorney.

This role involves making 150 to 200 calls daily in a professional environment, maintaining confidentiality, and managing claimant records.

Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree and prior experience in call centers or legal intake.

Qualifications

• Call center or BPO experience required.
• Legal intake experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

About The Role

As the Intake Advocate, you are the first point of contact for potential claimants seeking legal assistance with injury claims. You will guide potential claimants through a screening process to determine eligibility. If eligible, you will assist potential claimants in the completion of initial forms and applications to retain an attorney.

Availability

Saturday – Wednesday or Thursday – Monday, 3 pm – 11 pm EST.

What You'll Do

• Build the initial claimant relationship and confidence in our firm with every prospective claimant interaction.
• Engage in 150 – 200 calls per day in a professional inbound/outbound call center environment.
• Consistently build the claimant relationship and confidence in our partners’ firms with every claimant interaction while proactively contacting claimants to ensure the relationship is maintained.
• Solve problems and maintain confidentiality.
• Keep updated records and detailed documentation of claimant interactions, concerns, and complaints in a paperless database system.
• Use good judgment to discern what issues may be urgent and need a manager’s or director’s attention immediately.
• Be expected to meet occupancy and adherence goals.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration) preferred.

Experience

• Call center or BPO experience required.
• Legal intake experience is preferred.
