Job summary

West Oaks Hospital in Houston, TX seeks an Intake Registered Nurse to coordinate assessments for incoming patients, collaborating with Intake Patient Access Reps and Assessors, and initiating the Admission process under the Director of Intake Services.

You will assist discharge planning, support the care team in milieu management and performance improvement, and participate in the hospital's behavioral health program for adults, adolescents, and children.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• Current Texas State RN licensure; CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications.
• Experience: none required; two years inpatient psychiatric nursing and/or medical/surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities
