Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking an Intake Representative to connect patients with their care teams. You will screen calls, assign patients to therapists and physicians, and assist with intake database maintenance and monthly activity reports.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred coursework in insurance/billing and prior experience in patient services or medical reception.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient services, medical reception, or call/customer service in a medical environment.

Intake Representative

Be the Connection Between Patients and Care! Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a customer-focused Intake Representative to serve as a key connection between patients and their healthcare team. In this role, you will provide front line support to the Outpatient Psychiatry and Counseling Center through the performance of phone screenings, assigning prospective patients to therapists and physicians, and patient phone calls. Assists with maintenance of the intake database and monthly reports on intake activity.

What You\'ll Do

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.

General Requirements

• EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Course work in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are all preferred.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a combination of patient services, medical reception, call/customer service center (medical environment) or other customer service environment.
